Unearthed Photos Of Hip Hop Legends From 70s To 90s

Never seen before photos of our New York  Hip Hop legends from the 1970s – 1990s taken by three photographers has been unearthed.

The photographers  Janette Beckman, Joe Conzo and Martha Cooper photographically  documented the pioneering culture between these periods, and have now made these photos available to the public.

The photos include shots of none other than Rakim, JDL of Cold Crush, LL Cool J, High Times Crew, Salt N Pepa, Afrika Bambaataa, Queen Latifah,  KRS-One, Big Daddy Kane.

All photos will be on display at Museum Of The City Of New York, April 1 to September 15 , and will illustrate various elements of Hip Hop culture such as B-boying, emceeing, DJing.
