Essa, a lyricist, lawyer, and proud Londoner, emerged onto the UK hip hop scene during its “golden era” in the early noughties. With collaborations with luminaries like Nas and Mark Ronson and performances alongside De La Soul, Wu-Tang Clan, and more, Essa has established himself as a respected figure. His journey spans from his classic debut album ‘The Essance’ to recent releases like ‘Justice’, a poignant response to social issues.
Pitch 92: The Acclaimed Producer and DJ
Pitch 92, the acclaimed producer and DJ, brings his signature sound to this collaboration. Influenced by the likes of Madlib and Dilla, Pitch 92’s musical journey began in Germany & Switzerland before immersing himself in the Manchester hip hop scene. With a string of solo projects and collaborations, Pitch 92’s production prowess shines through in ‘Resonance’.
