DJ MK and Itch FM go way back.

In fact he was one of the first set of DJ’s to grace the station.

He use to do a show with Acyde, on a Friday evening and he use to blow the studio phone lines up!

When their show was live, the amount of texts and phone calls that came through was nothing short of rediculas (in a good way).

So much so, KISS FM nicked him off us, because he was that good!

It’s all good, because we’ve always maintained a strong relationship and it show the kind of talent we attract to the station.

MK isn’t the only one to go on to pastures new, we’ve had around 5 DJ’s that happened to, which is obviously a good thing.

Anyway, Shante and the video crew caugh up with MK for an insightful (and I must say Itch praising) interview up at The Funhouse HQ.

We managed to get a few answers out of him about the hip hop scene in the UK, past to present, just before he was due to go live.

Well, he has. He is also known as the “Mixtape King”, from flooding the market with his mixtapes years ago.

Amongst many other things, MK is a cool guy and a dope DJ that could rock any party.
