Itch FM is very proud to announce that a percentage of all our T-Shirt sales will go to the WAYout Foundation, that was founded by Michael Chandler aka DJ Furious, formerly of Itch FM.
The WAYout Foundation changes the lives of street, vulnerable and conflict affected young people through the Arts in Sierra Leone.
They offer training and shelter, make films that can effect change and record music that enables the excluded to re-engage. The Foundation promotes artistic freedom, education and empowerment.
WAYout has its own hub in Sierra Leone, including a fully equipped music studio, film editing room and training room that has had over 660 homeless street kids come through the door.
They’ve helped quite a few of these young individuals get off the streets and into jobs.
The Foundation has also been helping people to reconnect with their families, plus nearly 200 getting WAYout qualifications as well.
