One of the more promising up and comers from this new generation of battlers, Real Talk has successfully separated himself from the pack in terms of talent and hustle.
With over 7 battles in the last year alone, his dedication to his craft is impressive in and of itself, but match it with his progression as a battle rapper, and Real Talk could be taking down some of the veterans in no time.
Representing Syracuse, NY, the former GT Upstate affiliate has branched out markedly, expanding into various other leagues and locations, but has been seen more recently in King of the Dot.
Having taken on the likes of Uno Lavoz, ZM and CL, Real Talk is working through paying his dues in the scene.
Known for his rapid fire pace and no holds barred punchlines, Real Talk’s name is clearly not just a rap moniker.
One of the most permanent fixtures in King of the Dot, Aftershock belongs to the core group of battlers that has been in the Canadian battle league since the beginning.
While not as consistent as he might prefer, Aftershock has gathered a dedicated following of fans due to his over-emphasis on writing in his battles.
Elevating his rhyme schemes to an artistic level, ‘Shocks is able to disassemble his opponents with intricate patterns and vivid imagery matched by few in the circuit today.
With a resume that includes names such as PH, J-Pro and Bender, Aftershock clearly has no qualms with taking on the heavy hitters, and more often than not makes such matches contestable at best.
Taking on up and comer Real Talk at the Vengeance 2 event, Aftershock has another chance to show why he is one of the better writers in the game today.
