Afrika Bambaataa the architect of Hip Hop conveyed his perspective on present day Hip Hop and Rap music, and how he always knew Hip Hop would blow up this far.
He also illustrates the influences of techno pop, funk, reggae and disco in the creation of Hip Hop, as the influences and impacts the Civil Rights Movement and Human Rights Movement had on the music genre we love.
Universal Zulu Nations role in being the educator is discussed, and how they aid artist in understanding the mechanics of recording, publishing contracts, and the breakdown of royalties for physical and digital sales.
The shock of the interview was when he stated that Yo! MTV Raps Show was initiated in the UK, by a French lady, then after duplicated in the US.
