First Word Records came up with the innovative idea of taking 3 of their favourite producers round to Britain’s biggest vinyl junkie Mr Thing’s backyard and and have a dig in his Mecca of vinyl collection.
Mr Thing for those of you who might be too young to know, is one of the UK’s top turntablist, Dj and producer, who tours the world blessing Hip Hop jams with his expertise and genuine love for the music.
The star studded line-up of producers was sample magician Tall Black Guy, beat maker extraordinaire Eric Lau and rising star Kidkanevil.
Hey, and guess what? After they went digging, they all, including Mr Thing produced a beat. Hip Hop heaven!
