Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s new music streaming service starts with some problems, which some may consider to be a good problem.
Beats Music was launched on Tuesday, and already seems to be a hit with consumers as the high volume rate of subscribers has caused functionality issues.
The CEO Ian C. Rodgers stated that the company will stop letting new subscribers in, as it fixes the current issues.
“Due to the extremely high volume of interest in our service some users are experiencing issues”.
Beats Music app can still be downloaded with the company promising to alert customers as soon as the service resumes normality.
The app is currently only available from the App Store, where it has already become the number one music app.
