Franko Fraize - Itch FM Performance and Interview

Franko Fraize is one of  two interviews we conducted in a flashy central London hotel. Nice.

You’ll have to wait and see who the other artists is. But for now, lets continue Franky boy..

He (Frank Fraize) has the funniness of an East London barrow boy, only thing is he’s from Thetford, in Norfolk.

After getting through the ins and outs of London overspill towns and how the first time he heard an Norfolk accent was when he was 16 (he’s originally from London, you see), Franko tells Shante about his rise in music.

From featuring in a competition on the old Rodney P and Skitz radio show on 1Xtra, to getting play-listed on Radio One, Franko, also talks about his soon to be released EP (you’ll have to watch the video to find out the name. I can’t give it all away, or you won’t watch the whole video) and his latest video Siesta.

We like Franko, specifically because he remembers Itch FM from back in the day when we were pumping the Wan Cee “Remembrance” single over the airwaves and not because he’s a QPR fan.

The only thing we tried to turn a blind eye to, apart from the QPR thing, is that he kept on mentioning the BBC in one of its various guises. “..1Xtra this, Radio One that..”. I know, WTF!

But, I guess we could forgive him for that. And for the QPR thing! 🙂

In all seriousness, Franko Fraize is a pretty likeable chappie. He’s very down to earth, really appreciative, humble and has bags of charisma for the ‘game‘. Traits that should help him out.

Anyway, enough waffling, go check out the…
